Crusing the Harbour again
Last night Gareth celebrated his 21st birthday on a cruise. It was a lovely night of celebration and everyone had a mighty good time.
I got to meet a few very nice people from USyd and caught up with the guys from high school. The highlight of the night was probably the speech by Cassar and Gareth also showed off his amazing rubix cube solving skill and some 'funky' dance moves... These guys have a tradition of doing the the Hurlstone war cry followed by the school song after every Happy Birthday song... be it in a restaurant, boat, home or wherever the party is at! :)
I spent most of my time on the top deck of the boat admiring the breathtaking views of the harbour, and talking with various people. The night was made much more enjoyable when I actually made the effort to be open to people and there were some very interesting conversation happening on that boat.
After the cruise, we said our goodbyes to those who needed to go home and the rest of us headed off to karaoke for another hour of fun, fun, fun!! The best part of karaoke (for me, at least) was thumb wrestling. Got home at 1.30AM feeling tired but happy :)
