Some good things I learnt lately
It says... 'Do not love the world' or the values in it. It doesn't mean we are not to love the people in it, or that we should despise everything in it. In fact, we have been commanded to love our neighbours as we love ourself and seek to do good. What I must be careful not to live for is the material things that won't last. Ultimately, what matters most is where my heart is.
Trying to understand whether or not one can lose their salvation is like trying to gather all the water in the great oceans and pour it in a glass. Calvinism vs Arminianism - who are we to be judging if an individual can lose their salvation or not? In the end of the day only the Creator know our hearts.
Predestination is such a hard concept to grasp. It makes God seem unfair. On the other hand, it teaches me to be thankful and reminds me of God's graciousness and mercy.
To take a stand on being a premill or amill is not as important as living out life in obedience to God. Things that are not revealed with certainty will remain a mystery until the time God chooses to reveal to us. And until then, a Christian should be seeking for opportunities to share the gospel because being premill or amill, we are all working towards the day when all tears will be wiped away, there will be no sickness, or sadness, etc. etc.
