Precious in His sight

Do not let your adorning be external - the braiding of hair, the wearing of gold, or the putting on of clothing - but let your adorning be the hidden person of the heart with the imperishable beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which in God's sight is very precious (1 Peter 3:3-4)

New beginnings...

Life has been busy... it's crazy! Sometimes I wonder if it will ever settle down?

The new job is going well. Liking the environment I am in and my collegues. I am working closely with the Financial Controller and three other guys on the dealing desk. Keeping watch on the prices of precious metals and exchange rates is becoming second nature to me. The guys on the dealing desk are funny and smart. However being the only girl makes me feel kinda out of place sometimes.

We have also moved. It is very nice where we are at the moment - there's a lake down the road and a huge park. We've been really blessed with a spacious house. However, the whole 'moving' experience has been somewhat painful. Sawing, nailing, painting, drilling, landscaping, the list goes on and on... So much to do, but so little time. Getting the house in order will be a 'life-long' project for us. Nevertheless, it has been great!

I am really hoping that the list doesn't end with just a new job and a new house. What is more important to me at the moment is also a new life after university. Today is exactly 1 month till the completion of my degree. There is considerable stress involved in trying to unpack boxes, catching up with assignments and homework, full time work and squeezing church activities in between this craziness.
